You are welcome at Ballylinney. On a Sunday, you’ll find people of all ages from almost all walks of life; people just like you. We have found in Jesus Christ a living Saviour and Lord. We are not perfect, but we have been saved by the One who is.

  • Everyone is welcome at Ballylinney. Whether you have been to Ballylinney before or are coming for the first time, you are welcome. Whether you are from a religious or non-religious background, you are welcome. The Gospel is a message of total equality, before God we are all sinners, we all must come in repentance and faith to Jesus Christ the Saviour.

  • We gather together to publically worship God and encourage one another to keep fixed on the Lord Jesus. On arrival at Ballylinney you will be warmly welcomed at the front door and a steward will offer to show you to a seat. Normally we stand to sing Biblical praise songs, we sit to pray and sit when the Bible is read and explained.

  • Every Sunday morning we meet at 11am. On the first Sunday in a month we also meet at 6:30pm. 

    Our church services normally last just over an hour. We know that many people have responsibilities on a Sunday so if you are running late or have to leave early please do not let that put you off joining us. Come when you can and leave when you have to.

  • We have a two car parks beside our church: one directly opposite the church front door; the other adjacent to our church hall. Both car parks are paved and there are a number of designated disabled spaces.

  • There is no dress code at Ballylinney. You will find us a welcoming, friendly church, just come as you are.

  • We love children at Ballylinney; we will be delighted to have you and all your family join us.

    Sunday Morning

    Pre-school children

    A supervised crèche runs every Sunday morning (except July & August) from 10:50 to 12 noon in the Hagan Room, Ground Floor, Ballylinney Church Hall.

    • Nursery school children, toddlers, and babies to be signed in to the crèche by a parent or authorised adult.

    • Children can be signed into the creche, either before the morning service begins or when the primary school age children depart the service for Glow (Sunday School).

    • After signing children into crèche, parents are invited to return to the morning service.

    During July & August the crèche room in our church hall is available for parents with young children. The morning service is live streamed across to the crèche room each Sunday.

    Primary school age children

    Sunday School (Glow) meets every Sunday morning throughout the year at Ballylinney in the McConnell Hall, First Floor, Ballylinney Church Hall.

    • During the morning service children of primary school age come up to the front of church to listen to a short talk from the minister.

    • Immediately after this message children leave the service and are guided to the church hall for Sunday School.

    • Sunday School ends at the same time as the morning service, approximately 12noon.

    • Primary school age children remain in Sunday School until collected by their parents.

    Sunday Evening

    Primary school age children

    Christian Endeavour (C.E.) gathers on the first Sunday evening of each month in the Hagan Room, Ground Floor, Ballylinney Church Hall.

    • Children are encouraged to come to the 6:30pm service with their parents.

    • Approximately ten minutes into the service children are invited to make their way across to the church hall for C.E.  

    • C.E. ends at the same time as the evening service, approximately 7:30pm.

    • Primary school age children remain in C.E. until collected by their parents.

    We take child protection very seriously at Ballylinney, our leaders and helpers have attended PCI training and registered with Access NI.
